Welcome to the registration area for the upcoming Level 1 Instructor class, presented by the Kettle Moraine Curling School!
Here are the basic facts:
- The class will be held on Saturday, November 3, 2007
- The class will run from 9:30 a.m. to about 4:30 p.m. that day
- Lunch is at the club and is included in the $35 registration fee
- Attendees will learn USCA developed and approved techniques for
- introducing curling to new curlers
- teaching the no-lift delivery
- teaching techniques for effective sweeping
- other topics useful for teaching new curlers
After attending the class and passing the end-of-day test, attendees will then be REGISTERED with the USCA as Level 1 instructors. After using the methods learned in class to teach at least 4 new curlers (and filling out a form and sending it to the USCA) students then become USCA CERTIFIED level 1 instructors.
Lead instructor for this class is Larry Laux, of the Kettle Moraine club.
